Based on the error you received, it sounds like your sharing ability might have been temporarily suspended. You can find out more info at this Help Center article.
Have you recently shared a link which could have been downloaded many times, or to a large file?

What this is all about Megan? Ive shared countless files' types (photos, pdfs, docx, possibly other also) and NEVER had my share stopped/interrupted. Unless I unshare specific file(s) of course.
