‘Storage is full’ but 0 space used
Hi,
I keep getting a message that my storage is full and inviting me to upgrade. And I can’t add a folder that someone is sharing with me (0.5GB). But in my settings it says that ‘available space’ is 47.76GB and ‘space used’ is 0 KB.
What am I doing wrong…?!
Thanks.

Thanks for posting on the Community, Clarey5!
To check this further, can you send me a couple of screenshots first? To be specific, I'd like a screenshot of the error message you keep receiving, as well as one more of the space you see on this page.
Let me know when you're ready.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I can’t see how to attach a screenshot! Can I do that on the app, or do I need to be on a PC?
Thanks.

Hey Clare!
Right before you post your reply in this thread, do you see perhaps a small camera icon above your message box? If you click on it, you should be able to attach your screenshots.

Have you checked www.dropbox.com/backups ?

Hi Clarey5, thanks for the screenshots!
Other than checking your Backups, as Mark pointed out, can I ask if you only see this message when you try to add the shared folder to your account?
If for instance, you try uploading a single file in your account, does it allow you to do so? If yes, then are you certain the folder is only 0.5GB? Is there a chance that it is more than that?
Feel free to check the folder's size, and if you can send us a screenshot, that'd be amazing.

Hi,
I've checked backups and don't seem to have anything there. And the person trying to share the file with me sent the attached which shows the file is less than 0.5GB. However, I was able to upload a single file.
Anything else I can try?
Cheers

Thanks for the additional info and screenshots, Clarey5.
Are you trying to add the folder through a link the owner of the folder sent you?
If so, can you ask them to invite you to the folder, by following these steps instead?
