I got a notification saying I'm out of space, but I still have 7GB left on my Dropbox account.
Hi There,
A notification says "You're account is currently out of space and has stopped syncing", however My Account shows I have my used 15.4GB out of 22.5GB, complete with a section marked Unused Space 7.1GB ( Pls see 2 pics below)
Recommending Dropbox to half of suburbia many, many years ago, earned me an extra 20.5GB capacity for my 2GB Dropbox Basic Account. The Out of Space message by the way, was preceded by a warning March last year ( see pic 3) when I had about 12 to 13 GB storage used.
Would someone be able to help me get the account syncing again, please?
Very Best - Simon H

Hey 11235813! Thanks for posting this here.
To clarify, do you have the Dropbox app currently installed on your computer? If you do, can you please check its syncing status and let me know if it has stopped syncing indeed?
Also, if you try to upload a couple of small files to your Dropbox account on the website, do you receive any errors?
Let me know what you find.

Thanks Nancy. I have the App on PC and Mobile; no errors when uploading from each device files just now. The new files are showing in the Mobile App but not on the PC's via File Explorer.
Hope this helps

Hi from me too 11235813 - can you clarify the Dropbox desktop app's exact status as shown in your system tray as well?
