I sent a referral to a friend but it shows as ineligible, why is that?

Hello, I tried to refer a friend but they where ineligible, why is that?

    Welcome to our Community, Sillamus!

    A referral can be marked as "ineligible" if your friend already has an account with Dropbox, or they're attempting to register with the same computer as you.

    Can you check the steps here and ask them to make sure they've completed them?
