Solved

My quota isn't correct

I have 9.8Gb of dropbox storage, I received a message to ask me to upgrade to the latest app version telling me that i had only 2.86gb of storage !

I obtained this amount following the purchase of a samsung phone a few years ago, I am on a free account

I didn't upgrade as this would lose me a significant amount of data

Any idea what is going on ?

Hi windyb, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you see how much quota you have on your account from this page?

A screenshot of this would help greatly!

I am disappointed that nobody is helping or even replying to my issue.

Shall I assume that there is no solution and I will lose most of my storage if I upgrade ?

Maybe there is a way to ask dropbox support ?

    windyb - hi 🙂

You need to remember that this is mainly a user supported forum, not, a staff one (expect Monday through Friday).

In terms of the issue your account is showing as having 9.75gb of space. So no matter what version of Dropbox you use (mobile/web/computer etc.) you will have that as long as you are logged in to that account.
