No space in Dropbox but I can't find any files or folders to delete
It is saying I have no more space in my Dropbox, but I can't find where there are any files or folders in there to delete so I can have space. I don't remember putting anything in there and how am I out of space if there's nothing in there?

Hi kasey1031 - thanks for using Dropbox and posting on our Community!
Could you have a look at your backups page and let me know if you can find any folders or devices listed there?
If you do and still can't find anything that's taking up storage space, please send me a screenshot of your plan tab and what's reported in regards to your quota too.
Thank you.

I don't know how you found that page, and I don't know what all that is.

Thanks for the additional information and the screenshots too kasey1031 - most appreciated.
You can navigate to your backups page by clicking on the dotted icon in the upper right corner of your homepage and then on the Backup option.
To free up some space on your account, you'll need to delete your backed up devices/folders from that page.
Could you give it a go and let me know how it goes?

Every time I go to delete something, I get this window.

And if I click on backup settings, I get this...

But if I click on manage backups from the main screen's "backups page," this pops up instead. So I have to go to the external drive and open backups to see them.

Hey kasey1031, sorry for jumping in.
There’s a chance you’re signed in to a different Dropbox account on your desktop app. To check this, I’d like you to follow these steps.
Is the email address that you see under the Account tab of your desktop app preferences the same as the one you see here?
