Referral stuck in "waiting to install", even though the recipient has installed the mobile app.

My referral credit is not awarded to my account yet and its stuck in "Waiting for Install" even though user has installed the App on their phone and are using it on both phone and the web.

Hey rikin29! Thanks for your post.

In order to redeem the referral space, the recipient will need to install the desktop app on their computer and sign in to it (as mentioned here).

I'll be here, if you need further help though.

I guess the user only uses mobile app, that does not count? I'll ask the user to install the desktop app not sure if they have desktop though.

No, mobile installations don't count for the referral program. It needs to be the desktop application installed on a computer.

Hey rikin29, let me also jump in here!

Yes, I'd suggest that you ask them to install our desktop app too.

If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll be more than happy to investigate further. Thanks!

Also, just to avoid it being marked ineligible the install needs to be on to a unique computer, so, they couldnt use yours for example.
