Why didn't I receive my referral bonus?

Hello, I referred a friend a few days ago via mobile app, just as it is explained and following the process correctly, but didn't get the bonus yet. Why is that? Anyone with the same problem...?

    Did they install the Dropbox application on a unique computer? Mobile devices do not count for referrals. After they install and sign into the Dropbox application on a unique computer, they also need to verify their email address.

    Hey, Rich. Thank you for your quick response!

    Actually it was that. I didn't realise it had to be the desktop version, plus it hadn't been installed from the link sent via email

    Thank you so much, it helps to get a bit of extra space for new documents  😉

    Hello Dropbox support, I just downloaded the dropbox on my computer as a new user via a referral email from a friend but its showing ineligible.

    i will be grateful i you can please resolve this issue. thank you

    Hello Hannah, I believe this is the post that Stephen used to get his referral issue sorted.

    I was the one who referred to him, and we have been going back and forth because you cant sort it out for me as I did not contact you directly.
