"Your Dropbox is full" notification but I only have one file in my account
I have deleted all files but one photo on my account. Yet, every day since I still have a notice that my Dropbox is full. And suggesting I upgrade my account. Which I don't need. (MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 user)
Hello all, thanks for your suggestions and assistance. I did manage to delete all unnecessary files. And have paid to increase my capacity as may be needed in future. All is good now. I think.

Can you please use the steps in this article to view the size of your files and folders on our website, to see if we can find what's causing your account to be over-quota?

As the image said you have 17gb of files on your account. Dropbox isnt misrepresenting the space - dont you think millions of people would complain if that was the case? Thats what is on your account, although probably not your machine.
You can see everything at http://www.dropbox.com/home note it MAY NOT be on your computer as syncing stops when over quota, so you cannot use the file size of folders to check this.
You can also use https://help.dropbox.com/storage-space/file-size to see how large each indvidual folder is.

Please disregard. It turns out there was a folder that showed zero storage used actually was quite large for some reason. So, I just deleted that (including permanently deleting it in the "deleted files" section, and it appears to have reduced my storage use. I don't know why dropbox was reporting zero for that folder....

Deleted items dont use quota.
However, the bottom four don't have a size, which usually means they are too large to calculate. Ignore Apps as that doesnt use quota if its the Dropbox designated one.
So check Mac, Health Care and Temp files
