Cannot "Allow" extension in Mac Preferences
I cannot turn on Smart sync because the "allow" prompt does not ever show up in my mac preferences. I click open preferences, and the preferences window pops up, but there are no blocked extensions/pop ups for me to click "allow". I have reinstalled several times with no changes.

Hi there mnp22, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please send us a screenshot of the app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar at the moment and another one of the preferences you mentioned?
If you could also clarify your device's exact OS version, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

I click "enable", then "Open Preferences".

Hey mnp22, is it the "security & privacy" window that opens after you click on "Open Preferences"?
- mnp223 years agoExplorer | Level 3
@Hannah, yes that is the window that opens.

Hi mnp22, out of curiosity, do you have a third party mouse or tablet connected to your Mac, or are you using VNC or another remote management software to access your device?
- mnp223 years agoExplorer | Level 3
@Jay, no I do not have anything connected and am not using any remote management software that I know of. It is a work computer, so there may be some remote management software that I am not aware of.

Hey mnp22, thanks for clarifying that for us.
May I ask if you've installed the desktop app with admin privileges in the first place?
Also make sure you're running the most recent version of the app from this page.
Let me know of any updates!
