Cannot install Dropbox with Windows 11

Dropbox was installed before the upgrade to Windows 11. It has run completely fine but with the recent update to dropbox I was told I needed to update to the latest version in order to continue using...

Hi jp22, welcome to our Community! 

 

Do you get any specific errors when you try to start-up the desktop app? Can you give me some additional info as to what happens there?

No specific error. Installer finishes the installation, but I can’t open the app and there’s no icon on system tray. I already tried the advanced installation without success. Thanks

    Hey jp22, sorry to hear this persists for you, even after the advanced reinstall.

    I've got the same issue! Whenever I try to download Dropbox for my PC (brand new, with Windows 11 pre-installed), the Microsoft Store "recommend me" to install Dropbox Lite! I can download, but not run the installer file for "the real Dropdox"... What to do?
