Cannot log in and use the Dropbox desktop app on macOS Sonoma 14.7.8
I am using Dropbox on my MacBook Air. It was working normally, but a few days ago I upgraded my OS to macOS Sonoma 14.7.8 and since then I have not been able to log in or sync Dropbox on my Mac.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Dropbox several times, but it still does not work.
I first downloaded the DropboxInstaller.dmg, but it did not install Dropbox properly.
Then I downloaded the full offline installer of Dropbox .dmg, but I still cannot log in or sync.
Currently I am using Dropbox version 231.4.5770.
Could you please help me resolve this issue?
Thank you very much.

Hey Hoa Mai, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Can you give us a bit more info as to why you cannot sign in to the Dropbox desktop app?
Are you getting some kind of error message? What isn't working exactly?
If you could send us a screenshot of any error that you're getting, it would greatly help us as well.
Thanks in advance!

Hannah I was able to use Dropbox normally until I upgraded macOS. After that, I couldn’t sign in anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled Dropbox several times, but it still didn’t work. The dropboxinstaller.dmg file does not install Dropbox at all, and when I use the full installer (Dropbox 232.4.5926.dmg), the installation finishes but I still cannot sign in.

Hey Hoa Mai! Are you still unable to sign in to your desktop app, following the update?
If yes, can you try the steps Hannah suggested, and let us know what happens?

I have this same issue and the advanced install steps have not helped.

Sorry to hear that, Jdcroston. Did the issue occur after you updated your OS, as well?
Did you also try our offline installer and the behavior persists?

It did start after I updated from Monterey to Sonoma. I have tried the offline installer. The regular installer fails to download/connect in order to download. I have tried on multiple networks, I have no anitvirus installed, and the firewall is off.
