Can't install dropbox
Hello developers,
I am unable to install new version of dropbox.
My PC is HP EliteOne 1000 G1 27-in 4K UHD AiO
Before it was correctly but now it is not showing in System Tray and also not synching. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but not working. I have also deleted Drob box folder, but seems to be not working.
Please help as soon as possible.
I have installed and uninstalled dropbox many times, does not work. Reseeting PC didn't work. At last I have format my c-drive and installed windows. Now Its working. Installing windows to run an application nobody likes. I request the developer to add a powerful uninstaller to dropbox which may ask user to remove dropbox completely while uninstalling.

Hi mkmr484, welcome to our Community!
If I were you, I'd try rebooting the device as a first step. After that, can you try uninstalling and then re-installing the app?
Keep me updated on the progress.

I have uninstalled dropbox with professional uninstaller, and will try installing after 1 week. Thank you.

Dear Megan,
I had to install windows for dropbox to work. Resetting didn't help.
If you are a developer I request to add a powerful uninstaller to dropbox which may ask user to remove dropbox completely while uninstalling. It should not be like "check this and that folder and delete it" .

I'm not able to install new version of Dropbox, I've downloaded last one full version "Dropbox 185.4.6054 Offline Installer.x86.exe". I'm working on Win10 as admin user, many years using Dropbox. Recently days it direct me to update old version, but update was wrong. So, I've uninstall Dropbox and want to install new one.
When I start installer (both user or admin), it is seen in Process manager, but in 2 seconds it stops without any warning, any window on screen, nor any errors in system log. What's wrong, how to install this version ?

Yes, I did it. I've done "If the Dropbox app on your computer won’t install, the simplest solution is to try downloading the full installation instead of the regular installation."
But it doesn't help me...

Now, I tried to clean both registry and directories from all of Dropbox, restart PC, and tried to install it again... Anew nothing...
But I have Dropbox update log ( DropboxUpdate.log-2023-10-20-08-59-12-432-7896-finished ), can I send it to you ?
