User Account Control pop up asking if I want to allow this app to make changes to my device.
I am constantly getting User Account Control question popping up asking if I want to allow this app to make changes to my device. Dropbox Update and the publisher's certificate shows that i was issued by DigCert Trusted G4 Code Signing RSA-4096 and that it was valid from 1/24/2024 to 2/13/2026 (which makes this expired).
how can I get this updated and get a current certificate?

Hi mwhitby1
To help us better understand what's happening, could you please provide a bit more detail about the issue you're seeing? For example:
- Name and version number of the platform and SDK/library you are using, if any
- Steps to reproduce the issue, including relevant code snippet(s), but don't include any access or refresh token(s)
- Full text of any error or unexpected output (e.g., screenshots or screencasts)
With a bit more information, we'll be better able to review what might be causing the certificate message and guide you on the next steps.

I'm not sure this is an API question actually, but, what version of Dropbox are you using if you mouse over its log on the computer status bar?

Hey mwhitby1!
Are you running any apps that could interact with the Dropbox folder in some way, that could affect the app?
Did you install it with admin privileges on your machine in the first place? Also, did you try to update the Dropbox desktop application manually using this link?
Lastly, this could be related to an incorrect level of permissions when the Dropbox app was installed. If nothing else works, please follow these steps, and let me know if you're still facing the same problem.
