Just to confirm, you've restarted the Dropbox app, right? If not, please follow these steps:
- Stop Dropbox by clicking on the Dropbox icon in the menu bar
- Click on your profile picture or initials
- Then Click Quit
- To restart: Restart Dropbox by double-clicking on the Dropbox icon in the Application folder
If this doesn't help, let us know and we'll send you an email to investigate this further.

sfareg, are you able to hover over the small Dropbox icon in your menu bar? If yes, what’s the current app version it reports?

Hey sfareg, let me jump in here!
It seems that you're using our beta version of the Dropbox desktop app at the moment.
Can you visit your account settings online, and turn "Early access" to off? Once you do that, please try uninstalling the app, and reinstalling again using this link.
