I am experiencing the same situation on an M1 Mac running Ventura that I attempted to update yesterday. I get the prompt to update, the update seems to go fine, and then I get an alert and prompt to update all over again. The Dropbox files are clearly not moved from their previous location. Restarts and removing/adding the Dropbox client do not change the outcome.
Assuming this gets resolved, where would guidance normally be posted?

OK, so not 5 minutes after I sent the previous post, I gave it one more try and the update properly kicked in. The only thing that changed on my platform was that I activated my OneDrive client earlier today just to make sure it was working properly on my desktop and remote devices. It's certainly a long shot but perhaps something shook loose since both Dropbox and OneDrive seem to embrace a similar approach to cloud based storage on the Mac (and I know that this change has been "guided" by Apple).
In other words, false alarm (I think). I guess you guys are really on the ball...
