Having this same problem on an Intel Mac with Ventura 13.1. Notification of an update persists no matter how many times the installation process is completed.

I'm having the same problem - I've tried many times over several days but the update doesn't complete.

No error message, no system changes are made and the 'Dropbox for MacOS is ready' message flag remains no matter how many times I start this process...

Can you please confirm that you've granted Dropbox full disk access as outlined here and that you've already rebooted your computer?

Yes, I've turned on Full Disk Access and reboot. Still keeps coming back.
What does it need Full Disk Access btw?Leon
