    Did you open the file from Explorer directly, or via Excel itself?

     

    Is the full folder and filepath shorter than 260 characters?

      From Explorer. I’ve never had an issue before with long file names.

        Long file name issues would come up with an error similar to yours, saying the file cannot be found, hence my question, since Excel has a shorter limit of 218 characters. Do other files further up the folderpath (such as in the main Dropbox folder itself) load normally?

         

        What about if you try to open the file from Excel itself?
