I've used dropbox for years but today it is a mess. Sent images from my android phone to desktop but they only show up on the webpage not in my library so I can't upload them to a selling website. Tr...

There is nothing to uninstall...I said the installed dropbox desktop that i've had for years doesn't show up in start or in uninstall as existing. It somehow got uninstalled. I just downloaded and installed a large office program easily so the problem is with the dropbox install icon, not my computer. I have the website and dropbox is still accessible in the library as a program on desktop although it doesn't exist anywhere so I'll adjust to how to use it. When I was searching for help I saw posts going back years about this very problem of not installing.

You might want to try a more advanced reinstall of the app, which should help in this case.

    Well, since this is indeed a Microsoft error, I would actually suggest reaching out to Microsoft at this point.
