Problem with MacOs Ventura 13.0 on my MacBook Pro
When my MacBook rebooted after upgrading to Ventura 13.0, I got this message:
“Dropbox.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
I clicked on "Cancel" and put this email together to send to y'all.
What is the problem? What should I do?

I am experiencing the same issue. The dmg-file I downloaded is not responsive. The file size only 918 KB. Is that a complete file?

I later realized that the dmg was just mounting a volume with no notification at all. When accessing the volume (Finder, left side bar, close to other volumes such as Macintosh HD) I found the installer, and after installation everything was back in place.

Hi Fredric-
A couple questions from a fellow Mac guy who wants to upgrade to Ventura...
- Generally how is Dropbox working for you on Ventura at this point? Would you recommend upgrading from MacOS 12.2 (which is what I'm on)
- Are you currently running the version of Dropbox that supports MacOS 12.5 and higher (I believe it's still in beta and not everyone is getting it)?
- If so, most importantly (for me) can 3rd party apps download and open files? (I use AfterEffects with lots of embedded external files that are in the cloud and could give a file not found error when opening the project)
- Finally - what version of Dropbox are you running?
Thanks so much for your help! The actual Dropbox team aren't very forthcoming about dates and version numbers and aren't much help with this matter.

Hi @Rejane Cantoni , welcome to our Community!
Could you clarify the OS you're using on your end? Are you also on Ventura 13.0 as the OP mentioned?
Also, have you tried the steps my colleague Jay mentioned here? What other steps have you followed on your end?
Keep me posted!
