Quitting the transfer window: "Your Files Are Ready To Send" window quits Dropbox on Mac
I think this is new behavior....and maybe, this could be a cause of what some of us are referring to as "quiet crashes" where we notice that the dropbox app is no longer running or showing on the men...

8 months agoThanks for that! It sounds expected that pressing Command Q quits the Dropbox app as a result, since it’s generally used to exit a program.
However, please correct me if I’m wrong, you mentioned that clicking on the red X button on the Transfer window, closes it normally, right?

Yes...I can click on the red X to close the window.
I don't recall in all of these years that command-q of the transfer window quits the entire Dropbox system which is running on the menu bar and in the background. I'm just trying to figure out why it seems for many of us in Sequoia that Dropbox seems to not be open when we go to use it throughout the day. This "discovery" that I made today I think MIGHT be why. Also, command-w to "close" the transfer window does not do anything. I'm looking for a way to close the Transfer window without having to manually click on the red X. So that is what has brought me full circle to what I though was an "a-ha" moment.
