Quitting the transfer window: "Your Files Are Ready To Send" window quits Dropbox on Mac
I think this is new behavior....and maybe, this could be a cause of what some of us are referring to as "quiet crashes" where we notice that the dropbox app is no longer running or showing on the men...

I donât think this has always been the case with the Transfer window.
why doesnât command-w work with the transfer window?
Why should command-Q on a floating window quit an entire app that is running in the background and parked on the menu bar? Also, when Dropbox is running, the Dropbox app icon on my dock does not indicate that the app is running So I think Dropbox has some nonstandard aspects of always running in the background, which is great and necessaryâbut all the more reason why quitting the transfer windowâwhich in some ways is a separate program from the core of Dropbox should not quit the app from running on the menu bar
alsoâas a long LONG time user- Iâm not sure quitting the transfer window has always quit ALL of Dropbox

Can you also let us know which version of the Dropbox app you're using?
You can hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar to see that info.
