Syncing to Windows desktop computer recently stopped, but I can't update the Dropbox app.
Syncing with my Windows desktop computer has recently stopped. This function has worked very well ever since I've been a Dropbox user, until now. I also received a message that my version of Dropbox was out of date and should be updated. I selected "Update" and downloaded dropboxinstaller. exe. When I opened the installer, I received the message, "Dropbox Update installation failed with error 0xa0430722". What can I do to resume syncing with my Windows desktop computer? Thanks.

Thanks for posting this on our forum, HollowayHobie!
To make sure your Dropbox app is on the latest app version, you can also go here and try to manually update it from that page. Are you seeing the same error message then?
Let me know how that goes, or if you still have syncing issues after that.

In the link you provided, I used Windows 10 or later standard installer.
The result was the same error message.
My Dropbox is version 216.4.4420.
Thanks.
