The notification icon won't disappear from app.

I updated to the newest version for my Mac but I can't get the notification badge to go away on the icon on my screen. How do I remove it?

    Hi kmbryant, happy Monday!

If you open the Dropbox desktop application by clicking the icon, do you see any yellow messages that could be pending notifications?

    Let me know more!

No, there are no notifications. I cannot get rid of the message that says Dropbox for MacOS is now ready. I have gone through the process of downloading it a ton of times. I think the problem could be that I don't want any folders automatically added and the only way to do that is to say that I don't want to do it right now so I wonder if it won't complete the process.

Hey kmbryant, sorry to jump in here!

So, you still see the notification about updating the app, right?

Can you send us a screenshot of that?

Also, which version of the Dropbox app are you using? You can hover your mouse over the Dropbox icon, to see that.
