5 years agoHi itsjustme1, thanks for messaging today!
When you attempt to print the file via Office Online, do you get an option for a printable PDF of the document?
Does that version print from the Dropbox site?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

My 365 account works perfect. Doing this from my Dropbox account doesn’t do a thing. Doesn’t print. Doesn’t download anything.

If you're not getting a prompt, then there is definitely something on your browser, machine or network preventing it from loading, since I get a prompt on my test devices without having a 365 account. There is a possibility that a proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router issues could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains.
Could you try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running?- itsjustme15 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Doesn't work. I have no programs installed. Just fresh install of Windows 10

I have no extensions running either. Literally, a brand new Windows 10 install with nothing else loaded

I have checked and I am not running a proxy or VPN. I have not changed my security software or anything else. Yet this problem with Dropbox started several months ago and is getting worse. I used to work around it by closing the Word document and then using print from the right click menu. Now even that won't work. Please find a fix for this as I loved Dropbox but this problem is causing me so much extra work I may have to go elsewhere and I really don't want to have to do that.

Sorry to hear about this, dreamnest33.
Can you please clarify for me if this issue is occurring on the desktop app or www.dropbox.com, like the previous users had mentioned?
Have you tried downloading one of your Word files directly from www.dropbox.com, saving it to another location on your computer and then, printing it? Does that seem to work?
Let me know, and we can take a look.
