Can't install Word on Chromebook to use with Dropbox
Chrome OS devices wont download Microsoft Word. Is there another alternative to edit dropbox documents effectively?

Hi ronaldlarue3, thanks for posting today!
If you're not able to edit using an installed version of Word, you should be able to edit the files via the Dropbox site, which will open Office Online for you to edit files.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know! - csteibdvm3 years agoNew member | Level 2
I cannot edit the documents from Drop box on my Chromebook. I do not see an option to open on Office online. Please advise. TYIA

Hi csteibdvm, I'd be happy to help!
Do you use our website, or the desktop app on your end?
Also, in case you're using the website, could you access your connected apps right here, do you see Microsoft Office there? If so, can you try disconnecting it, and connecting it again?
Keep me posted!
