Cookie preferences icon blocking functionality in Excel for the web spreadsheets
A cookie preferences icon recently appeared in the bottom left hand corner of excel for web sheets when accessed through dropbox. despite choosing and saving cookie preferences the cookie doesnt go away, and blocks the ability to toggle left through excel sheet tabs .
Is there a way to remove this cookie icon?
Hannah
I was able to resolve and remove the cookie by changing browser setting in Chrome privacy and security > third party cookies > & switching on send do not track request.

Hey DimitriR, thanks for your post.
I think this icon is probably coming from Office for the web, but can you open another browser and sign in to your Dropbox account from there, to see if you get the same behavior?
Let me know what you find.

I guess it could be coming from excel for web, but when we click on the cookie icon it brings up Dropbox cookie settings?
When preferences are selected and saved the cookie remains blocking the left < that allows users to toggle to the left tabs of the spreadsheets.

Thanks for your post, ducsue!
Is this something you see across different web browsers (even in incognito mode)?
What options do you see, if you click on the cookies icon?
Finally, if you happen to have a Microsoft Word file saved on your Dropbox account, can you please open it and let me know if you see the cookies button placed in the same position?
Let me know what you find.

It happened a few days ago and is appearing in Chrome (only use windows chrome) both regular and incognito mode. Cookies appears in online Word & Excel app.
