Editing xlsx files with Google Sheets or similar, not with Microsoft Excel.

If that's the case, there is still a small workaround (note that I admittedly haven’t tested it out here…)
You can export the file from the Dropbox to your local storage, SD card, wherever you want so long as you remember where it was!
Open the file, and depending on your Android settings, you should be able to choose the app you want to open it with. Hopefully Sheets should appear in that list.[This thread is now closed. If you have a similar or new question, you can ask here.]

Thanks Rich but unfortunately this doesn't work. I can export them in whatsapp, firefox, airdroid or even in translator but not in sheets :laughing:

I've just found that this is G-Sheets fault, not Dropbox. It seems to be a years-old choice of Big G's devs, but I've faced it only now.
