"Get files to dropbox" apps on wix web site
Hi,
I use the "Get files to Dropbox" app in my web site since more than 2 years. Since the 17th of february, whon someone upload a file via the dedicated web page, I receive the mail of notification from wix that a new file has been uploaded in the dropbox but there is no file in the dropbox. I have contacted the wix support team that has checked and says that the file is well sent to dropbox, so that the problem should be with dropbox. Is ther someone that can help me on that subject ?
Thank you

Hey anneg35, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please let us know if this integration is listed under your Connected Apps tab?
If so, have you tried disconnecting and re-connecting it anew?
Keep us posted!

Hi anneg35, if the email and files you're getting are from Wix, and now you've not been getting them, then it would be an issue with that app in particular.
I'd recommend contacting Wix again for further assistance, since their app is the one sending you the emails and files.

Hi Jay,
I still receive the email, and the Wix support told me the file is well sent by the integarted app in the web site. But the file doesn't arrive on the dropbox. I have checked everything, disconnect and reconnect the app from dropbox but also, from the wix page. I really need help. Does this app still working (supported) on dropbox or not ? This is a business use for me and it is very important that I can rely on it... or find another solution.
Thakns again. Anne

It depends on the Wix app itself, if that app is responsible for transfer files from Wix to Dropbox, and no new files are being added into your Dropbox account (which you can check from the events page), then it means that the Wix app isn't working.
As the app isn't developed by Dropbox, we wouldn't be able to assist further in troubleshooting their app.

Ok, I think so. I return with wix support. Thanks for your help. Have a good day.

Hi,
Still trying to find a solution to my problem...
I have found this : Dropbox has recently introduced short-lived access tokens only, and does not seem to allow new apps to generate
access tokens that do not expire. Short-lived access tokens can be indentified by their prefix (short-lived access tokens
start with 'sl.').Is it possible that the problem comes from that modification from dropbox ?
Thanks

Have you reached out to the third party website's developers/support with this info, to see what they come back with, anneg35?

Hi Hannah,
Yes, Wix has fixed the problem and the app works now. Thanks for answering.
