Hi Jay
further to our discussion yesterday. I have been in touch with song book again who suggested resyncing with Dropbox
which I did and the good news is that my files are now back in Songbook. Not sure what happened previously.
I have noticed that on my Dropbox account a lot of files have leaked out of the folder they should be in.
is there a way to manually move them to the correct folder in Dropbox?
Many thanks
Chris

3 years agoGlad to hear that Songbook is working again.
Regarding the other files, you can try moving them back to the correct folder. Are these random files or entire folders that have been moved? IS this related to the Dropbox Backup feature?

Hi
thanks for reply.
How do I move the individual files back into the main folders. Can I move multiple files all at once?not sure if they are random files or if itâs connected to the back up but they appeared in Songbook yesterday in a file called without category, all my files in songbook are in four folders and categorised but when I got my files back yesterday there were about 700 that werenât categorised so I have had to go through them and delete duplicates or re-categorise.
best regards
Chris

Yes, if you're viewing files on the site or on your machine, you can move them in bulk.
As to how the moving of the files would affect Songbook, I can't be certain.

Are you moving the files via the site or your computer?

Hi
Moved the files back to the folder they should have been in by using my Dropbox account on my laptop.
All seems ok but I am a bit reluctant to sync the files again from my ipad as its taken me ages to sort this out.
Would I be better off deleting all the files on my dropbox account and doing a clean sync from my ipad bearing in mind what happened last time I did sync.
Is there any way of finding out how many files are in each of my folders on dropbox?
Many thanks

Currently, there isn't a way to see the number of files on your account or in each folder.
It depends on how you want to sync the files, since I don't know how Songbook works overall, and how is syncs from the iPad.
