Official Dropbox for Outlook Add-In
Two major issues I'm encountering with this add-in:
1. I get a "Failed to share file attachments." error when attempting to use the "Share files" button to select a file to attach when composing a new email. I can attach from my personal Dropbox just fine, but when browsing to the Dropbox for Teams folder and attempting to attach a file in it, I get that error.
2. I have to sign in to Dropbox every time I want to utilize this add-in. Shouldn't it retain my login session info?
Any ideas on either issue are appriciated!

Hi NS2022, welcome to our Community!
Can you please send me a screenshot of the error you get on your end? What is the size of the file you're trying to attach?
Also, feel free to let me know the platform you're using on your end.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there.

Hi Megan,
Thanks for the reply. Please see screenshot of error here: https://ibb.co/yyvGPY7
File size varies anywhere from 125KB to 125MB. It doesn't seem to care what size the files I attempt to send are.
What's notable is that it can send files from the personal side of the dropbox with the outlook add-in, but only throws this error if I try to attach files within a Dropbox for Business Teams Folder.

Thanks for the info NS2022!
Hm, the team folder might be the culprit there. However, could you please attach the screenshot on your next reply here in the Community?
I couldn't access the link for security reasons. Thanks!

Just saw where to upload directly to the post. Let me know if this helps Megan.

Hi NS2022, most likely it's due to the files being in a Team folder. Do you know if the team admin has enabled sharing from the Dropbox Business team?

Hey Jay I actually manage this account for a client and have access to the admin console. I've gone through the Team Folder permissions pretty thoroughly but no restrictions on sharing outside of the organization seem to be in place. It's always possible I've missed something, but nothing stood out as being misconfigured even on the 3rd Party Integrations Permissions.
Nothing is restricted as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the info, I'd recommend getting in contact with the support team directly for further assistance.

Thanks Jay,
They informed me there is no fix for the issue and the response seemed to imply there is no intention of Devs taking this up. I feel like Microsoft didn't have to push me to SharePoint, all they had to do was wait for Dropbox to abandon their business product.
