Salesforce Integration - Adding new folders are only personal

We have a salesforce integration and at some point in the last year something changed so that when users add a few folder it is only added to their personal folders instead of the company one where everyone can view the content and add to it.

We have a centralised structure for all these folders but now have to manually move them after creation to make them visible to all.

Does anyone know how I can change this default setting? Salesforce tells me I need to ask Dropbox.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if this helps, but Salesforce admins can set up Dropbox for Salesforce to follow their existing Salesforce security model mmpUCG

By default, Dropbox for Salesforce follows the Salesforce security model.

Hey justinSCW, are you referring to adding a folder in the team shared workspace, instead of the team member folder (folder with the team member's name)?

Hi Hannah, I am referring to when we create a new opportunity and no folder or file exist for this opp. We can successfuly upload a file from this point but when we add a New Folder first, it doesnt do anything and doesnt add the folder.

I've had this problem for a long time too. No solution seems to be available as of yet.

justinSCW, I had a look into our system and I can see you’re already in touch with our support team. Since they have account visibility, I’d definitely suggest that you check this with them as well and see if they can see something more on their end.

mmpUCG, if you’re having the same issue/question justinSCW posed above, can I log a ticket for you too and check this internally?

This works...sort of. It does allow me to create a new folder on a brand new opportunity but it does not refresh the dropbox window with the new folder. It still shows "There are no files associated with this Opportunity". I have to either refresh the browser or add another folder/file to make the first folder accessible.
