Started on new pixel 9 device. Was working perfectly on my old pixel 6 1 week ago. Exact same issue as the OP.

      As stated in my initial response, about 1 week ago. Got a new pixel 9 (so fresh/new install) and it was working perfectly on my pixel 6 up to then. I also indicated the message is identical to the OP.
