5 months agoHi morissasweeney,
Thank you for your interest with our Family Plan. The benefits you are getting with the Family plan compared to getting each family member an individual plan are as follows. First, you will be saving on space because although each member has their own individual account to share the 2,000 GB, there is a default shared folder called "Family Room" wherein all the files uploaded to that folder will grant automatic access to the rest of the members, and the space is only counted as 1 count , rather than when you share files to another user on a separate account, that shared folder size will be taken against their plan's storage space. Second, this will save you the time and the cost of letting other users purchase a separate plan of their own in case they are already going over their 2GB free space which is very limited, and will no longer allow them to gain access to the shared folder in case the total size of the folder goes beyond 2GB . So instead of letting them purchase another 2TB for another $119.88/year for each of them, you are only paying one bill of $199 but for the whole 6 members already. Hope this helps :)
