Dropbox Plus subscription does not show up on Google Play.
Hello, Dropbox Forums.
I recently began a 30-day free trial of Dropbox Plus, but when searching for a means to cancel just in case, Google Play gave me a strange result.
When following the typical steps to cancel Dropbox Plus from the Android app, once redirected to Google Play it reads:
"We couldn't find your subscription.
Make sure you're signed into the right account (Note: I am) and check the list of your current subscriptions (It doesn't show up here)."
Has any other Android user ran into this problem? Does it eventually go away, or is this a dire issue? I'd rather not get billed for something if I don't end up feeling the need for it.
Thanks,
Locura

Hey Locura53, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Can you just confirm to me that these are the steps you followed in order to cancel the trial?
Thanks!

Hannah,
Indeed, I went to the "Manage your subscription" tab in the Dropbox Android app to then reach the cancellation page.
Thanks for replying,

Hey Locura53, sorry to jump in, but could you let us know what exactly is reported in your account's plan tab?

Hello,
My plan reads Dropbox Basic, but above it says:
Dropbox Plus trial
Your free trial of Dropbox Plus will end on May 31, 2022. If you don’t cancel your free trial by then, you will be billed for your Dropbox Plus subscription.
Does this entail that the trial is set to end on the 31st, or is it still set to bill me?
Whatever can be done would be appreciated. Thanks,Locura - Megan4 years ago

Hi Locura53, happy Friday!
Would it be okay for me to reach out to you via email, in order for us to take a closer look into this?
Keep me posted!

Hello,
I honestly gave up on this out of frustration back then, but I unfortunately realize the payments don't go away with it. I'm more than willing to reach out via e-mail now, if someone is still able to reach me after all this time.
Thanks,
Locura

Hey dynn, thanks for posting about this on our forum.
Can you also send me a screenshot of what you see here?
Besides that, can you upload a screenshot of what you see when visiting your Google Play account?
Thanks a lot!
