I have been charged 119.88 every January 31 for an account I no longer have access for

I have been charged 119.88 every January 31 for an account I no longer have access for! Please cancel this subscription before the next billing cycle. I would like to be able to resolve this issue before I get charged once again. Unfortunately, if my attempts to seek support get ignored (as it is usual with Dropbox) I will be forced to initiate a chargeback via my bank. This is a serious issue and it's baffling that Dropbox has been just silently leeching off my money and not letting me cancel the subscription.

    In cases like this one, note that you can reach out to our support team for direct assistance through this form. Just make sure to use an incognito window without signing into any Dropbox account.

    Alternatively, you can  let us know here if you'd like us to reach out via email from our end to have a further look internally.

    In any case, please keep me posted. 

  • I've been trying to reach over and over, each time getting either no response or being told that you're unable to figure out where this charge is coming from. I'm being charged and your support is intentionally obstructing my right to cancel your service. 

     

  • Here's the charge in question. I have provided every piece of information requested by your support and all I got in response is the obviously false claim that you are simply unable to find the corresponding account or delete me from your system. It certainly is very convenient to pretend like you're selling me a service on one hand, and then immediately act like my account doesn't exists when I'm fighting to not get charged anymore.
