My Dropbox account was accidentally upgraded and I need a refund.
Morning,
I just received two email stating I upgraded to the essentials plan, I was on basic and am guessing this was a trial period upgrade. I have sent an email requesting cancellation of the upgrade with refund through PayPal. I am from Australia if that helps, is this the correct process or is there something else to do?
Time difference doesn't help as I can not complete live chat.
Regards, Tim.

You can cancel the subscription yourself and that will prevent any future charges, but you'll retain Essential plan benefits until the end of your billing cycle. At that point, the account will downgrade back to Basic.
Subscription fees are typically non-refundable, expect where the law requires (UK, for instance). You would need to contact Support directly to find out for sure.
To contact Support, visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
