Something went wrong message when trying to pay for upgrade
I have been directed to seek your help paying for an upgrade on my account.
I get the same error no matter what computer, or browser (even incognito).
It allows me to enter all my payment info, but the black box is spinning and the submit button is grey and there is a pop-up that says 'Something went wrong. Please refresh.'
I was direct here when the support request by email only allowed for cancellations or refunds, which seemed to mystify the person advising me via chat.

Could you clarify the plan you're on at the moment and also send us a screenshot of the error you're getting?

I was on the Plus plan and seem to have been downgraded to basic.

Have you tried another browser to do this at all since you first noticed this? If you did and this persists, could you clarify the URL you're navigating to upgrade your account back to the Plus plan?
Apart from that, can you try from the plans page directly and let me know how it goes?

Yes I've tried it on Safari and Chrome
This is the URL I was navigating to https://www.dropbox.com/buy/plus
I tried the different options too and the spinning square only stops when I select the 3TB & Billed monthly options
The original subscription is via Apple (I think) so wondering if this is the issue. When I tried to upgrade direct via my iPhone it looks like it would work work but I want to pay using a different card.

I am having the same issue. I am out of space and when I click "upgrade now" I get an error message that say "something went wrong."
I need to upgrade my accounts ASAP to keep my files and need help with this.

I am trying to upgrade my account back to a Plus subscription (right now I am on basic and need way more space to keep my files) but when I get to the upgrade payment page I get the error message " something went wrong. please refresh the page or contact customer support." Unfortunately the customer support bot has been unhelpful. Can anyone help me remedy this so I can upgrade to a Plus plan ASAP? Thank you so much for any insights.
P.s. I tried it on different browsers and even in "private" browsing mode all with the same error message. I also tried it from my iPhone.

Hey CoreyK95, sorry to see you're having trouble with this as well.
Just to make sure, have you tried to upgrade using a different card or PayPal, if that's a possibility?
Can you maybe send us a full-page screenshot of the error message you get so that we can have a visual too?
