Viewer history of old files previous to upgrading to Professional?

I'm thinking about upgrading my "Basic" account to "Professional".  It notes that "Professional" would enable viewer history of files to display when others have accessed your files.  My question is would it display viewer history previous to the upgrade, like when my account was just "Basic", or is this feature just enabled for files moving forward?

    Viewer history isn't retroactive, which means it takes place the moment you upgrade your account, moving forward.
