Can’t see my avatar or access my settings and profile
I have several Dropbox accounts. Most have the blue Dropbox avatar in the upper left corner, and my own profile and initials in the upper right corner. One account has a black Dropbox avatar, which I think means it is synching (which it is not, since I deleted the app on my computer so that it would stop). On this account I cannot see my avatar or profile. How can I access those?

Hi Krijo
Where are you seeing this? The website or a computer or similar?
If its the website just log on to the account with the black avatar and log on there.

I’m looking at my account with my computer but on the website. I am already logged in, and I see all my files. But there is no avatar, no initials, and no settings or profile.

I can send a screenshot if that helps.

You can only link 2 accounts together - one as a paid business account and then one more. So if you have more than that you cannot link additional ones. You would need to log in and out to see them separately.
And yes by all means send a screenshot 🙂

l’m not trying to link. It is a personal account, not a business account. I always log in and out to see the different accounts. You will see in the screenshot that there are no initials in the upper right corner, and the question mark leads to a pop-up page with help suggestions. My profile and settings are nowhere to be found.

Thats really weird as my screen is totally different:
Have you tried an incognito window? Or clearing cookies and cache etc.?

Don’t know how to try an incognito window. And cache clearing does nothing. I’ve already told you that I have another account with the Dropbox logo upper left in blue. On those pages, the avatar and profile/settings options are upper right. This page has a black Dropbox logo upper left, and as you can see, no profile/settings. Information I have found so far indicates that the black Dropbox logo means it is synching with my computer. However, it is not, because although I did download the app on my computer about a year ago, I deleted it because I don’t want to use the synching feature. Since then, my files are still there, and I can log in, but I can’t change any settings or profile information.

Somebody else has just posted a full screen print of the website and it seems to show that if you scroll down the page slightly it has the usual account toggle:
