CAPTCHA puzzles not allowing me to login to my account on the website
Hi. Recently I've started having the problem reported by others months ago of being faced with no less than 10 ridiculous puzzles to complete in order to log on. Having done so it says you have failed verification. Having been through changing lots of things I'm convinced it's not to do with browser, extensions, VPN or whatever as it is only intermitant and other times I simply get a code to email and log in no problem. So are these puzzles the fault of Dropbox ? Why on earth is this happening ? Very frustrating.

Thanks Hannah. I have actually been in touch with Dropbox Support very recently who suggested all these things so yes I have tried. When I went back to them yesterday with a screen shot of the puzzle box to say the problem persists they dropped me and suggested I come here !
I'm using up to date Firefox 144.0 and as I say it's worked intermittently. Also tried Chrome and if I remember got 3 puzzles rather than 10 and managed to solve them and log on. 3 is still too many when you also need an access code to your email (as well as your password of course!). Support were edging toward blaming Firefox but I've been using it for about 20 years and have never seen this crazy log on issue on any website ever.

Hey aayjay, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I moved your post to a thread of its own, so we can focus on your issue better.
I understand that it can be frustrating, so let's see what we can find.
Since you originally posted under the Security and Permissions FAQs page, I'm assuming you tried all the suggestions for this issue, right?
Can you also make sure you try all the steps here and then let me know which browsers you're having this issue with and which browser versions you're using?
Thanks in advance!
