Changing Email: says email already taken.

I am trying to change the email on my account to my new work email. I established the account with a personal account. The new email I am trying with saying already taken - but how since i own this email and never used it before with drop box. How can I change it?

Thank you

How to change my old (not active) emailadress into my new one?

I tried to change the mailadress but it told me the new emailadress was already used.

Then i deleted my account from the new mailadress (using google account to enter) and after doing that the mailadress still does not want to change...

How can i get my old account connected to my new mailadress?

What message are you getting now that another account with that email address no longer exists?
