Dropbox is adding a folder to a thumb drive without asking
If I plug a thumb drive or turn on an external drive, Dropbox is adding a folder automatically without asking. In my case it's a document folder. I do not want this added. There must be a setting for this that I'm missing. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi avspin, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Have you enabled the Dropbox Backup feature?
Is this Document folder empty or does it contain any data in it?
This will help me to assist further!

I do not have the backup enabled.
Yes, inside the documents folder is another document folder, inside is pdf favorites folder and inside that is another folder for outlook archives

Is this a folder that is already on your computer elsewhere?
If you quit the Dropbox desktop application completely, and then connect the external drive, does the folder get created there?

Yes, in my documents folder that I have now deleted. And there never is any files inside these folders that are created. I quit Dropbox and turned on a couple externals and inserted two different thumbs and not folders created. Restarted system and it created a folder.
