I'm trying to update my email address, but Dropbox says the new one is currently in use.
When I followed the steps to change my email address, I entered the new address and the system said the email was already taken. I have had that (new to Dropbox) email for a decade so I know it is not someone else. Any ideas?

If you see a message that the new email address you’re trying to use is already taken, it means that it’s currently linked to another Dropbox account.
To test this, you can open an incognito window on your current browser and try to sign in using that email address (you can also reset the password from the login page).
Do you see a separate Dropbox account after that?

Yes, apparantly I have 2 accounts as I was able to login to another one. Don't need 2 so I guess I will delete one. Thanks
