Not receiving 6 digit verification code
I have been trying to access my dropbox account for the past month and have not received any 6 digit access code emails or any password reset emails, or for that matter any emails from Dropbox. I pay a monthly subscription fee so I don't think my account has been shut down as I have seen in other threads. I NEED these files!
Hey Jay,
I had previously added the no-reply@dropbox.com email to my contacts and that did not solve the problem. I was able to pull out my old computer, thankfully, and the code was being sent as a notification and not as an email. So I am in now but if I had not been able to resurrect my computer from the dead things would still be a problem!

Hi Megan - any update available? I emailed you some info about the account; is there more than you need?

The silence is DEAFENING....what's happening?
Can I have an update (by email, ideally).
I got your email yesterday and replied within a few minutes...but since then SILENCE.

I am also desperately trying to log into a Dropbox account that I don't access often. It's not sending me the 6 digit code email. I've added no reply to the associated email's contact list. I've also tried changing the password, but it's not sending me that link either. The email associated with that account is receiving other emails just fine. It's not in my "other" folder or spam folder. Anyway I can be helped? I have client files in that dropbox account that I really need to find.
Thank you!
Becca

How bad is this Dropbox. I cannot access my dropbox. Got email, password everything but they are not sending a code to my email so I cannot get in. Cannot contact support, the bot is the most pointless thing and so is all the other questions and options.

Hey Dave9999, thanks for posting on our Community!
Can you also try adding no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts and then check to see if you'll receive the security code, after a new attempt to sign in?
Let me know how it goes.

I had the same problem (I have several clients and most of them have the same issue).
In some cases, the codes don't arrive to the email. The mailboxes are fine and spam folder it's empty. Mailboxes receives mails from other recipients without any issues... just the Dropbox codes are not being sent.
When I was able to contact support by chat, support fixed it... they did "something" on the backend and codes started to arrive to email addresses.
The problem is in some scenarios we cannot contact support because we cannot login. If we cannot login, the support chat is unavailable!
