Not receiving 6 digit verification code
I have been trying to access my dropbox account for the past month and have not received any 6 digit access code emails or any password reset emails, or for that matter any emails from Dropbox. I pay a monthly subscription fee so I don't think my account has been shut down as I have seen in other threads. I NEED these files!
Hey Jay,
I had previously added the no-reply@dropbox.com email to my contacts and that did not solve the problem. I was able to pull out my old computer, thankfully, and the code was being sent as a notification and not as an email. So I am in now but if I had not been able to resurrect my computer from the dead things would still be a problem!

Hi Alifz, let's jump right into this!
Just to make sure we're on the same page: do you have access to the email address linked to your Dropbox account?
If so, then have you added no-reply@dropbox.com to your contacts list, in order to ensure that email goes through?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Haleeda! Before we take you to ticket, can you clarify if you’ve checked your email’s spam folder as well, and added no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts?
If you haven’t tried this yet, please follow these steps and attempt to log in again. Do you receive the one-time code now?

Haleeda, I’ve just replied back to your email. Please keep in mind that the average response time for tickets is about one business day, so you may not receive a reply immediately after you send your email.

- Saxa4212 years agoExplorer | Level 3does not send a six-digit password to access an account registered via @mail.ru. I had an account before and access via recovery, but when I try to send the code, no email messages are received
