Dropbox captcha error
Your browser appears to be blocking dropboxcaptcha.com, which is required for authentication.
I ran a scan on my computer, and performed the following:
- restarted the computer
- cleared the cookies/history
- tried in incognito mode
- disabled the firewall temporarily
- tried in different browsers
- made sure pop ups are allowed in the browser
- Allowed cookies to be run on the site
- ensured the browser was up to date (Using Chrome)
I keep getting this error and am unable to log into Dropbox

Hans1903, can you please check your Events page on both Dropbox accounts and let me know if you see any events there that explain what happened to the rest of your files?
When was the last time you could see all of your content on www.dropbox.com?

lmmatic, did you also try the audio challenge and you still couldn’t sign in to Dropbox after completing it?

Hey Hannah,
I am owner of two accounts. One private and one sharing with other people. Both show all maps only but nearly all files are not visible anymore or gone. Recently uploaded, today, files are visible but previous uploaded files not visible in both accounts and the mobile app.
There were visible a while ago, so what Update has been done that caused this.
And please make the captcha working with Firefox iso Edge only
Regards
Hans

This thread also has no resolutions just more people locked out of their accounts because of the captcha failing to verify. Is this a windows 11 issue?

ALL DAY we've battled with these puzzles! Trying to set-up a new PC in the office on a Thursday is bad enough but to be met with these captcha puzzle is just infuriating. Surely I can prove my humanity in less than 10 tasks! We are still no closer to getting logged in :)
We've all had windows updates this morning so I'm wondering if this has caused an issue?

Thanks for your feedback about the captcha, Hans1903, and sorry to hear about this.
Regarding losing access to your files, is it possible that you've signed in to a different account on Edge than the one you're signed into on Firefox?

Same issue here.
Login with Firefox fails anytime, using Edge succeeds, but all my shared files have gone.
Please restore the old captha and bring my shared files back.
Thanks

I have been using the Dropbox free account for several years now. However, I am currently no longer able to log in to the site because the login puzzle is not working. This cost me a total of 30 minutes of my time. With the best will in the world, I can't afford this waste of time. I will therefore refrain from using Dropbox in the future if no solution is found.

Hi! I'm sorry if I'm being abrasive on this, but generally workaround are a way to "you do the workaround, we will resolve the problem sooner or later", and that "later" never comes.
I've tried the audio option - it asks to choise which song has a change of instrument in there. 10 sets of 3 songs, and not being a musician I have to imput a random number and hope for the best, because I have no idea
Instead of playing games or jingles, why don't you simply remove this crap altogether, and put two-factor authentication as a must? It will keep accounts secure from bots at the same way, and we will be free to access our accounts quickly as we are supposed to.
