I can't access my account, in order to change my phone number it asks for a code to get in.

Hello does anyone know how u get in contact with Dropbox I need my phone number changing it’s a old phone number and now it asks for a code too get in my Dropbox don’t wanna loose all my photos any help thanks

    I dunno just when try login sends text too a number no longer active so can’t login

    The only way to change 2FA (which is what sends a code to your phone) is to have the device or the emergency recovery codes given upon set up. There is no way, at all, to get around this.

    I don’t have that phone anymore wiped it and sold it

    Then you need to use the recovery codes given when you set 2FA up.

     

    If you didnt keep them safe then you cannot recover your account I'm afraid.

    Did not keep a code was a random account made years ago that I started using for a year tried contacting Dropbox but can’t seem
    Contact them
    Unless have premium account

    The way to contact support is at www.dropbox.com/support WHILE NOT LOGGED IN - even to here. 

     

    However, they wont circumvent it. You set up 2FA to stop people gaining access to your account without the credentials to do so OR the codes to recover. The whole point of 2FA is to do this. Allowing somebody to just remove it puts the whole security of the system at risk.
