I can't access my email in order to get the 6-digit security code. What can I do?
I can login successfully, but needs me to check 6-digit code in email.
Before immigration, login dropbox never needs me to check 6-digit code in email.
After immigration, it needs me to check 6-digit code in email. (same computer)
My email account was disabled (long time no use and I forgot the password), I can't login to my email to check the 6-digit code.
I only want to login Dropbox without check email 6-digit code, so what can I do?
Thanks
It is very unlikley you will be able to access the account without access to either a device (mobile possibly?) with Dropbox installed already OR the email.

You will need to log a ticket with Dropbox while not logged in - even to here so try an incognito browser and use the option to get account support from www.dropbox.com/support.

Rich - That is not true, I have lost access with my account, lost all of my information because of the 6 digit code and have been unsuccessful in getting my account billing cancelled. Since its coming due, I'll probably have to just get a different card number in cancel the one on file. I've provided payment for over a years worth of service to an account I can no longer access. God forbid if you ever lose access to your email account.

Hey Agent V, based on the previous info and communication on this thread, it seems that my colleague Hannah sent you an email, in order for you to have a closer look into this.
Did you have a chance to reply back to her?
- mairiclaire762 years agoExplorer | Level 3This has happened to loads of is. The agent will send u security questions when I finally get a reply and I answered all mine and they still won't give me access. It's like talking to a brick wall. They ask u to contact them. Then u explain u can't recieve the code and then after loads of faffing about u end up loosing any thing u have stored with Dropbox as they still don't let u access it

This account is [removed] which is a different account than the one I'm trying to access. The one I'm trying to access is under [removed]

Hey 1115shy, since this is the only way we can communicate, we can send you an email there and then we'll go through the process for the actual account that you need to access. Is that okay?

Yes that is fine!

You want to send me an email to an address that I can not access?

1115shy, I’ve logged a ticket for you! Please check it, and reply back to me.
abueljebain, can you access the email address shown here? This is the only email address we can contact you to from the Community.

Yes I can access that dropbox from that email. But it is not my original dropbox. The one I want to access had 9 GB of my old stuff.

We just need a way to contact you, abueljebain and we'll try to figure out the rest, when we do.
I sent you an email, so make sure to reply back to me, when you have a chance.
Thanks!
