Hey Thierry67, really sorry to hear about this.
Does your customer still have access to their email address?
If so, make sure to ask them to submit a help request to our support team through this page; they'll be able to assist them further.
Make sure they/you use a browser that's not signed in to any Dropbox account or an incognito window.

Someone created a Dropbox account using an email address from my company. They are sending out malicious links from the Dropbox account using this employee's name and email address in the Subject. Can Dropbox support help us terminate this account? We have examined the headers of the emails and confirmed they are coming from Dropbox mail servers. To be clear, this employee did not create this Dropbox account.

Hi bmacadam, sorry to hear about that!
Have you tried reaching out to our support team through this form.
Just make sure to use an incognito window and fill in all the relevant information and an email address we can reach you at.
Once you do, feel free to send me the ticket number reference, in order for me to locate it on our system.
Keep me posted!

Hannah I have submitted a ticket via that link now. Our situation is like someone else previously mentioned in this forum: our employee had his O365 account compromised, the attacker created a Dropbox account and is hosting malicious content in that Dropbox and sending it out as if it were from our employee.

Hey bmacadam, sorry to jump in here, but could you share your ticket ID with us so that we can look it up in our system as well?
Thanks!
